My name is Liz McInnes (she/her), and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Brooklyn, New York.

I provide individual psychotherapy services for adults and adolescents in New York State.  

​

I provide clinical supervision for clinical providers. I am certified "SIFI" field instructor for social work graduate degree programs.

​

On occasion, I offer documentation for asylum immigration cases and for gender affirming procedures.

I have extensive experience working with individuals who are survivors of trauma, coping with depression and anxiety, dealing with life transitions and grief, navigating relationship issues, and exploring one's identity. I have worked with populations including immigrant survivors of torture and survivors of human rights abuses, individuals experiencing suicidal ideation, engaging in non-suicidal self-injurious behavior, college athletes, general college mental health, adolescents, and members of the LGBTQIA community.
